Aggie Gym
Built in 1957, Aggie Gym is home to the Cameron basketball and volleyball teams. The playing surface was completely refurbished in the summer of 2004 to incorporate Cameron's official logos while enhancing the quality of the surface for competition. Again additional renovations were done in 2008 the gym floor was completely replaced and heat/AC were added. A new lighting system was also installed.
The facility is one of the oldest buildings on the Cameron campus and seats a capacity crowd of nearly 1,800 and provides a loud atmosphere for fans and visiting teams to Aggie Gym.
In addition to the arena, the facility also houses a complete athletic training room, weight room, classroom space, coaches offices, and four locker room areas.
Aggie Gym is located on the northern edge of campus across from the University's administration building.
)From Will Rogers International Airport, Oklahoma City:
- Exit the airport heading north on Meridian.
- Turn right on Airport Road going east.
- Follow the signs for I-44 West, exiting to the right.
- Exit I-44 at Gore Boulevard (exit 37). Go west on Gore Blvd approximately 3 miles. Turn south (left) on University Drive at the Cameron University sign.
From Tulsa/Oklahoma City:
- Take I-44 West to Lawton. There are toll booths with the following prices currently as of 2013:
- Tulsa to Oklahoma City (Turner Turnpike): $4.00
- Oklahoma City to Chickasha (H.E. Bailey Turnpike): $1.50
- Chickasha to Lawton (H.E. Bailey Turnpike): $1.75
- Exit I-44 at Gore Boulevard (exit 37). Go west on Gore Blvd approximately 3 miles. Turn south (left) on University Drive at the Cameron University sign.
From Wichita Falls:
- Take I-44 straight to Lawton. There is a toll booth that costs $1.50 (as of 2013).
- Exit I-44 at Gore Boulevard (exit 37). Go west on Gore Blvd approximately 3 miles. Turn south (left) on University Drive at the Cameron University sign.
From Highway 62:
- Highway 62 turns into Cache Road in Lawton.
- Travel on Cache Road to 38th Street, turning south and traveling one mile to Gore Boulevard.
- Turn east (left) on Gore.
- Turn south (right) on University Drive located one block past the next traffic light.
From the Lawton Municipal Airport:
- Exit the airport turning north (left) on 11th Street.
- Take 11th Street until you reach Gore Blvd. Turn west (left) on Gore Blvd.
- Turn south (left) on University Drive at the Cameron University sign.
